Our Team

Shelly Fusca

Shelly has a passion for teaching and encouraging teachers in the educational process to reach their full potential in pouring into young lives. She has many years of experience teaching at the elementary level in Texas, Oklahoma, China, and Taiwan. Before coming to HLA, Shelly was a 4th grade teacher and elementary team leader at Morrison Academy, a Christian International school in Taiwan. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Shelly has a deep love and passion to see lives changed through knowing and serving the Lord Jesus Christ. It is her prayer that every student and teacher she has the privilege of working with would be drawn to him. Shelly is married to Allen. They have three adult children and a son-in-law. 

Shelly and her husband served on the mission field in Asia for 21 years. She is thrilled to become a part of the HLA community and serve his purposes in this new mission.
