Laura Claggett

Laura Claggett was raised by two godly parents and when she was nine she took the faith she saw evident in her parents’ lives as her own. She knew then that their faith wouldn’t save her and that she needed to be personally saved through the work of Christ on the cross. Laura is a faithful servant member at Imago Dei Church in Raleigh.

She has been teaching since 2009 when she graduated from Cairn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Master’s degree in Education. Since becoming a mom in 2013 she has enjoyed teaching at two different University Model schools. She loves that the model gives her the opportunity to invest in all the gifts God has given her — her passion for teaching, and her home and family. She was a 4th grade teacher at HLA for 3 years. Now she has the amazing opportunity to continue to utilize and further develop her leadership and administrative skills serving both parents and teachers as the HLA Durham Site Administrator.
