Our Team

Kelli Badzik

Ms. Kelli was born and raised in the beautiful state of Colorado, right outside of Denver. Her bachelor’s degree is from Metropolitan State University in Behavioral Sciences with an emphasis in Psychology and Elementary Education. 

 This will be her 6th year teaching Kindergarten and she is excited to be a part of the HLA community. She is most looking forward to coming alongside parents to create a love for learning and Jesus. Over the years she’s also been very involved with her church, as well, including a mission trip to Costa Rica.

Growing up she spent most of her weekends in the Rocky Mountains. Her family would hike and ride bikes in the summer and snowshoe in the winter. She has lived in North Carolina for 16 years now, and there are 5 girls that call her Mom, for which she could not be more thankful. Her daughters range in age from 2-17. These days she enjoys training for half-marathons, and greatly appreciates the option to be at the beach or the mountains within hours.
