Elise Martinez

Elise Martinez joined the the HLA staff 2023 excited to be back in the classroom. After completing an elementary credential and Masters in Education from Azusa Pacific University, she began teaching in the public school system. A native of California, she taught for 3 years before taking a break to focus on family. She and her husband Louis have been married since 2011 and have two beautiful children, Jack & Amelia. When Elise is not teaching in the classroom or being a co-teacher to her 2nd grader, she enjoys working out, spending time with friends, or serving as a worship leader at her church.
