Our Team

Daniel Fisher

Daniel is excited to use his gifts to teach again and work with students after taking a few breaks to be home with his girls while they were younger. Before starting a family, he spent five years teaching physical education/health, 8th grade Bible, and coaching the varsity boys soccer team at Grace Christian School in Raleigh. More recently, Daniel taught physical education the first year of Heritage and then again a couple years later. 

Daniel has a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from Penn State University and a M.Ed. in Sport and Recreation Administration from Temple University. His teaching certification is in physical education and health, grades K-12. In addition, Daniel officiates high school and college basketball and coaches club soccer. 

Daniel is married to Jennie, and has three daughters at Heritage, Mia Grace (13), Anna Beth (11), and Lonise (7).  He is an active member of the Summit Church - Apex Campus. Daniel and his family enjoy going to the beach and watching Penn State football, the Buffalo Bills, and Chelsea FC. Daniel considers it a joy and privilege to be serving the Lord at Heritage Leadership Academy. He is excited to help students know, love, and follow Jesus by growing in their Biblical worldview. Daniel looks forward to walking in the good works God has for him (Ephesians 2:10)!
