Our Team

Charles Carson

CJ grew up in a small town in western North Carolina. He came to North Carolina State University to study Animal Science and never left. After graduation he met his wife, Megan, while working for the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine. They married in 2017 and have a wonderful son, Tucker. CJ has enjoyed studying animals across a spectrum of research disciplines, from industrial agricultural research to molecular biomedical science. His passion for biology is combined with a desire to see God credited for his mind blowing creation. CJ has always felt a call to teaching and is excited to find a place where he can do so within a biblical framework. 
The Carson family attend the Summit church at its Garner location, where CJ and Megan lead a small group and serve on the prayer team. When he is not working, CJ enjoys spending time with his family, reading, writing, and occasionally wandering into the gym.
