Betty Garcia

Betty was born and raised in North Carolina and has a Communications degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from UNC Chapel Hill. During college she met her husband, Richard, and they have three amazing children. Their son is in college and their two daughters currently attend HLA.
     The HLA journey for the Garcia family started with the launch of the RTP/Durham campus in 2018 and they have been blessed to be a part of the HLA community ever since. This will be Betty’s first year on staff at the Apex campus but she has been a teacher assistant since the 2019 school year at the RTP campus. She enjoys ministering in a Christ-centered environment and building relationships with children and their families.      Some of her favorite things are spending time with family, listening to podcasts, baking, and spending as much time at the beach as she can.
