Alissa Hafer

Alissa Hafer grew up in South Florida and moved to the Raleigh area in 2017. She gave her life to the Lord at fourteen and was baptized. From that point forward, she committed to go wherever Jesus sent her and do whatever He asked her to do. She attended Palm Beach Atlantic University where she studied Psychology and Biblical Studies. Shortly after graduating, Alissa married her high school sweetheart, Jordan. She worked with middle school girls in a behavior modification program and discipled middle school girls in a Christian school before becoming a mother. After Lyla and Caleb were born, Alissa was blessed to be home full time. She has adored homeschooling them both and investing deeply in their hearts and minds.

Alissa feels that education is not just intended to be an accumulation of knowledge, but is an opportunity to experience how each part of God’s created world points back to His goodness and character. Alissa has a passion for igniting a fire for learning and faith in the next generation, and is so excited to extend those passions to students at HLA.
