Adam King

Originally from Southern California, Adam has lived in the Cary/Apex area for nearly 30 years. Out of college, he took on a Student Pastor position in Cary, where he served from 2009-2020. The Lord called he and his wife to plant a new church in Apex, and after receiving a Master of Arts in Church Planting (SEBTS) they were able to launch Family Church on Palm Sunday of 2022. Adam now serves as the Lead Pastor.

After spending 11 years in Student Ministries serving teenagers, he felt the Holy Spirit pulling him back into their world, and is so excited to be teaching the 9th graders at HLA!

He married his wife Jade in 2011, and has 2 daughters who attend 2nd and 3rd grade at HLA. He is a bit of a coffee snob, grew up playing the drums and basketball, and loves helping others find and develop their passions!
