Stacey Bishop

Stacey was born and raised in the small city of Sparks, NV. Though she never thought she’d leave her hometown, the Lord had different plans for her life. Newly married, she and her husband, Michael, transplanted to Durham for a job opportunity in 2013. They have since welcomed three girls - Elyse, Kaylee, and Emily. All three currently attend HLA.

The Bishop family’s HLA journey began in 2018 when their oldest was starting Kindergarten. Providentially, they were introduced to Heritage Leadership Academy, and it has been a blessing ever since. Stacey brings her years of experience as her children’s satellite teacher along with her in-class assistance in various classrooms and Enrichment activities. She looks forward to what the Lord has planned for her time as Kindergarten TA!

To unwind, Stacey loves to listen to audiobooks or podcasts while crocheting or working on other craft projects. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking, or exploring new places with her family.

Praying for HLA, Stacey would echo Paul’s prayer from Philippians 1:9-11:
“And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.”
