Jen Salisbury

Jen grew up in Key Largo, FL, where as a teen she made the decision to follow Jesus and was baptized. God provided family and friends to commend the works of God as her walk as a disciple of Christ began. This journey continued when called to the mountains of North Carolina as a college student.  At Western Carolina University Jen pursued her B.S. in elementary education. After college she made the move to Raleigh, NC. It was in Wake County that Jen began her work as an educator in the public school system for a five year period. During this time she met and married her magnanimous husband, Jeff. Since 2009, their years together have been filled with ministry in the city they love, three zestful children: Johanna, Carolina, and Cooper, and escapades with friends and family. By God’s provision Jen joined the HLA family as a fourth grade teacher in 2022. She enjoys being in and around water, playing volleyball, reading and baking.
