Apex K-3 STEM enrichment students read the book Twenty-One Elephants by Phil Bildner which tells the true story of people reluctant to walk over the completed Brooklyn Bridge - that is until P. T. Barnum walked his 21 elephants across the bridge to prove it was safe. After reading the book, students took on the challenge to build a K’nex bridge.
