Bridgett Collins

I was born and raised in Tennessee and all my family still live there, but I have lived in NC for most of my
adult life. I moved to NC when I married my husband, Wayne in 1992. We have a daughter who is
married and lives in Greensboro and a son who graduated from Heritage Leadership Academy’s first
graduating class of 2023! I became a part of the HLA family in 2017 when my son attended the 7 th grade.
HLA embraced my son and has truly been a blessing to my family. I was hired as a Teacher Assistant for
Kindergarten in Mrs. Doyle’s class in 2018. I enjoy being a small part of HLA as it grows and continues to
bless students and their families. I love incorporating my creativity and love for Arts and Crafts to
enhance the lessons in the classroom. Besides being Mrs. Doyle’s Assistant, I teach Art to both
Kindergarten classes on the Apex Campus. My hobbies and interests include Interior Design, Art,
Traveling, Gardening, Flower Arranging, and Crafting.
